YW Hot Java
Wins Hot Mama Llama Futurity
At just 5 months old, this jet-black silky wonder took first place in Class 1
of the Hot Mama Llama Sweepstakes against some very tough competition at the 2004
ILE Llama Show. He is the son of "Princess," a foundation female that has
consistently produced show Champion babies time after time. Java's brother,
YW Highlander, took Second Place in Class 3. Highlander is the son of Bardo' Gypsy.
We are proud of both our "Hot Mama Llamas," as well as their offspring by our
herdsire Incspot. Say hello to both these special boys at the next show!

Pablo Cruz Wins
Top Honors at Triple Crown Spinner's Choice Fleece Show
Pablo Cruz's fleece took First Place in the 2 year old and older Spinner's Choice
Fleece Competition at the Triple Crown Llama Show. Equally important, fleece from his
two offspring took First and Second Place in the younger class of the Spinner's
Choice competition! These fleeces were from YW Tiajuana and YW Gossmer Cruz. It is especially
important to see that Pablo still has top-rated fiber at five years of age, and that he is
passing the fineness, luster and silky hand to his babies. We know that Gossamer Cruz's
new owners, Tom and Judy Ross, will be pleased with the fiber quality from this junior
herdsire.
Bolivia's Rio K also took Third Place in the older division of the
Spinner's Choice competition; at 6 years old, we are still very proud of this halter and
fiber champion female!

YWL Welcomes
Overman Pale Moonlite!
This stunning female caught our eye first with her signature size, bone and substance
inherited from her ALSA Champion sire Machuco and grandsire, National Champion
Amigo De Peru. When we saw her fiber, we could not believe our eyes: true suri
lock structure with tight curls all the way to the skin! Pale Moonlite has
competed well in both ALSA Suri and Heavy Wool classes, but her outstanding size
and substance make her the type of "true suri" that we will prize in our program
for years to come! Thank you to the Overman's for letting us purchase
this unique female!
