Great Llama Links!

What do you do with your llamas?

You take them to the INDIANA STATE FAIR
Of course!

August 2001
State Fairgrounds
Indianapolis, Indiana

What?
Each Year the HLA hosts the Largest Llama Show in the State of Indiana, and one of the largest in the Midwest.  Over 300 llamas attended the ALSA Class III show in 2000!

All competition and age ranges for halter, performance, showmanship, youth and 4-H classes are offered, as well as fleece competition and specialty classes.   Llamas are on display for the entire weekend to thousands of fairgoers, and displays for the HLA, 4-H, and llama wool products educate the public on the wonderful world of llamas!

When?
August  2001, stay tuned for the exact date!

Where?
At the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis, IN.  The cattle barn now conveniently houses both the llama stalls and the arena to the delight of hundreds of fairgoers!

Why?
For Fun!  For Competition!  To show your llamas to the thousands of visitors that attend the great Indiana State Fair!

Saturday evening has fun events for llama owners and spectators alike: costume classes, Leaping and Limbo Llama, and the Orgling Contest!  Shoulder to shoulder standing room only was available on a beautiful Indiana Saturday night for a memorable llama event!
